Yvonne’s oil paintings, are calming and tranquil. For Yvonne there is always splendour in the grass! This profound subject matter has sustained so many interpretations by the artist, within both the macro and micro of the Australian landscape. Yvonne explains, “Many of the paintings in this exhibition come from taking trips down from my mountain home and along the road that stretches from Wivenhoe to Somerset. There are days when we can appreciate and enjoy the good times. Days when all the parts of the puzzle start to look like they fit”
