Judy painted at Warlukurlangu Artists alongside her elder sister Maggie Napangardi Watson, who was instrumental in her artistic education. She is well known for using vibrant colours and textured surfaces which have a sophisticated composition and intricate design. Much of her work describes the Mina Mina country (a scared women’s dreaming site) west of Yuendumu, where she worked and lived.
Judy Watson Napangardi is a highly collectable artist whose work has been exhibited widely and features in major collections both nationally and internationally.
