Andrew Arnaoutopoulo's exhibition Eternity (cuated by Nicholas Tsoutas) presents a dynamic new body of artwork, created largely over the last 2 years in his Brisbane studio, during the covid lock-down isolation. Exploring themes begun decades ago, Andrew’s work continues to embrace abstraction in the ‘here and now’. A reverent and disciplined approach to the performance and materiality of painting, Arnaoutopoulos maintains a fierce reliance on this age old dualism discerning process and product. He forthrightly remains in this contemplative space, calling that world into question. A world dominated by the perpetual motion of artistic processing.
