Much like her older sister Minnie Pwerle, Emily paints ‘Awelye Atnwengerrp’ meaning ‘women’s business’. Inspired by the designs painted on women during ceremonies, Emily’s painting uses energetic and vibrantly coloured overlapping lines which engulf the canvas.
